On September 26, 2006, eight finalist families traveled, expenses paid, to New York City for a live event announcing the next Ivory Family. The winning family won a $40,000 scholarship*, a year's supply of Ivory Lavender and a feature on Ivory.com. The winning family hails from Chicago. The judges were won over by the family’s many longstanding traditions, including starting Christmas celebrations at midnight for more than 50 years, a tradition they continue to pass along through the generations. |
